- translate the medical lingo into common terms.
- Accessing the computer explanation of symptoms and side effects and conditions
I've studied many different kinds of Integrative Medical practices. Having an understanding of Allopathic Medicine and Alternative or Integrative Medicine, Barbara may help you;
- Explore and explain complimentary treatments that may be available
- Find answers and referrals and open up choices for treatment of the medical concerns you have.
As a Hospice Nurse for 15 years Barbara can also be helpful to patients and family members and the caregivers involved in or anticipating Hospice Care. She would feel privileged to:
- consult with families and caregivers to help them understand the dying process and the recommendations for care.
- give emotional and spiritual support to patients and families about the difficulties they encounter,
- discuss how the transition process can unfold gracefully for all involved.
- Provide Hawaiian Healing or Reiki treatments to Patients and Caregivers.
